What are 'abandoned goods'?

When Clockwise attempts to contact you at your last known contact details regarding all or part of your inventory, or your Clockwise Fulfillment account, you have a 30 day grace period from notification to respond to the notification. If you fail to either retrieve the products or notify us of your intentions* within that time period will result in the products being considered "Abandoned Goods," at which time we can handle the abandoned goods in any manner we deem fit.

There are a few reasons why you your products may be considered "abandoned goods"

  • Clockwise has notified you that we have received goods for your store without notice or instruction as to the handling of the products, but has received no response from you within the grace period. 
  • Clockwise has notified you that we received goods that were not in compliance with our inventory requirements, but has received no response from you within the grace period.
  • Clockwise has notified you that your account is overdue and needs to be brought current, but has received no response from you within the grace period.

We recommend that you make sure your account is always up-to-date, in good standing and that you review and comply with our receiving guidelines and inventory requirements [Link] so that we can prevent any chance of you inventory being considered "abandoned goods".
