What kind of inks can I print with?

You have the choice of a few types of ink for screen-printing: Standard ink, Water-based ink, and Specialty Inks.

Standard ink

Commonly referred to as plastisol, our standard ink is what most printed garments are made with. Standard ink is best for exact color matching to your graphic; producing the most accurate results as well as superior color vibrancy, whether on a dark or light garment. Standard ink is more versatile and can be printed on just about every garment we carry.

Premium Water-based ink

Water based ink embeds itself into the fabric of your garment, resulting in an extremely soft, everlasting, quality print. Since water-based inks are embedded into the fabric, the print will most likely last as long as the garment it's printed on will. Garments with more cotton content, which will always yield the best results, can be found here.

Premium Specialty Inks

We also offer specialty inks, such as Metallics, Puff Ink and Glow-in-the-Dark ink for when you want to add some special effects to your print. Not every print situation is ideal for these inks, so we recommend reaching out to us at print@clockwise.io so we can help you bring your ideas to life.

Additionally, if you have other ideas for special ink effects you would like to use, just let us know! If we can make it happen, we will!
